Our Story
Our journey to becoming life science staffing specialists.
Purpose
We didn’t start Life Science Hires from scratch; we built it on nearly a decade of working side by side.
We first met 9 years ago in a Life Sciences recruitment business, where we helped build a division from zero to 50+ consultants across France. Having worked both in specialised permanent recruitment and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), we experienced the strengths and limitations of both models.
Rather than fitting into one model, we decided to develop an approach designed specifically for this reality in between.
Two Founders. One Vision
Our backgrounds are different, and that’s exactly why the partnership works. Chloé brings 11+ years of experience across pharma, biotech and CDMO environments, specialising in scientific, technical and regulated roles. Amélie brings 9+ years of experience across MedTech and IVD, focused on commercial, operational and field-based functions.
Amélie brings structure and execution. Chloé brings instinct and depth. Together, we balance rigour and intuition, structure and flexibility.
What has always connected us is the same approach to recruitment: taking the time to understand the reality behind each hire : not just the job description, but the people, the context and what success actually looks like.
As part of Hires Group, we combine specialist Life Sciences expertise with the support, infrastructure and experience of a wider recruitment ecosystem — giving us the focus of a boutique and the backing to scale.

From the only French speaker on her team to leading a 50-person division across France and Europe, Chloé has spent 12 years building, training and managing 100+ consultants internationally, delivering large-scale RPO programmes, and placing pharma and biotech talent at every level.

Amélie spent nine years building and leading a Medical Devices and Diagnostics division in France, growing it to 15 consultants before taking on responsibility for 50+ people across multiple life sciences divisions. Throughout, she has specialised in commercial and technical profiles across medical devices, IVD and broader life sciences.

From recruitment consultant to CEO, Ben spent 11 years building and leading one of Europe’s specialist staffing firms, ultimately overseeing 300+ employees across 11 offices in Europe and the US. Experience he now brings to leading Hires Group and supporting Life Science Hires growth.

An MCIPD-qualified people and operations leader, Jack has spent over a decade scaling international recruitment businesses and brings firsthand experience of corporate life sciences. He provides the operational backbone to Life Science Hires and consults on marketing, reporting and training.
